Pornhub Insights recently released statistics on the popularity of Wedding Porn including searches about brides, grooms and their honeymoons. The folks at Mic.com then asked us what happens to men after the knot is tied. Are fantasies involving ‘married men’ a popular porn genre? Read on to find out.
In our Wedding Porn post, we discovered that many of the searches had to do with cheating – before, during or even after the wedding. As it turns out, many of the searches involving married men also have to do with cheating, or sex with someone outside the marriage. The main search term used to describe married men is actually ‘husband’, although ‘married man’ ranks slightly higher than ‘husband’ for individual searches.
Many of these searches involve either the husband or the wife watching each other have sex with another partner. The term ‘cuckold’ is used to describe a husband who enjoys watching his wife have sex with someone else. We also found that searches containing the word ‘wife’ are 418% more popular than searches containing the word ‘husband’.
Our statisticians found that women are 24% more likely than men to search for porn videos involving married men. People aged 45 to 54 are 32% more likely to search for married men than all other age groups, while those aged 18-24 are the least likely, at 29% less than all other ages.
When comparing searches by gender, we found that women were 280% more likely than men to search ‘husband and wife make love’ whereas men searched ‘wife sucks in front of husband’ 557% more than women. In general, it seems that women prefer videos in which the husband is cheating or having sex with another partner, whereas men prefer videos where the wife is doing the cheating.
