The folks at Politis asked our statisticians to review the porn habits of Cyprus. We found that this island country ranks 82nd for traffic to Pornhub, but that’s nearly half its rank of 152nd worldwide for population. The average Cypriot spends only 5 seconds longer on Pornhub than the world average, but 29% of visitors are women – a full 5% more than Pornhub’s average. Tuesday is the most popular day of the week to visit Pornhub and Friday is the least popular, but more visitors go to Pornhub from 3pm to 4pm in the afternoon than at any other time of the day.

Euro 2016 Final Match
On July 10, Portugal became the Euro 2016 champions after defeating France 1-0 in the final match of the series. Fans in Portugal, France and indeed all of Europe and the world were glued to their screens as the two teams faced off in a heated match. In the past, Pornhub has seen major traffic fluctuations during events like the Superbowl and NHL and NBA finals, so our friends at LAD Bible asked our statisticians to see what effect the Euro finals may have had.
Austria and the Euro 2016
Heute.at contacted us to see how traffic to Pornhub was affected when Austria tuned into the Euro 2016 games. Of course Austrians were most interested in the games in which Austria was playing, with a drop of nearly 30% during Match 36 on June 22 against Iceland. There was an equal amount of interest in Match 34 between Hungary and Portugal, similar to the 28% drop for Match 24 when Portugal played Austria.
Eurovision Song Contest 2016
The Eurovision Song Contest is the longest-running annual international TV song competition. Beginning in 1956, the 2016 edition marked it’s 61st year. The finale took place on Saturday May 14 and lasted for 4 intense hours as the performers sang and viewers from across Europe televoted for their favorites. As often happens with hotly-anticipated televised events like the Game of Thrones premier, the Super Bowl, NBA Finals and NHL Playoffs, we saw major changes to Pornhub’s normal traffic levels before, during and after the Eurovision finale show.
