When are Irish eyes smiling? When they’re watching Pornhub of course. The Irish Mirror asked us to take a look at how Ireland watches porn so our statisticians set to work. While Ireland’s population of 4.7 million ranks it 124th worldwide, they rank an incredible 28th for traffic to Pornhub. In fact, in our 2015 Year in Review we found that Ireland had 161 visits per capita, making it 4th worldwide just behind the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States. Good on ya Ireland!

Women’s Favorite Searches Worldwide
To close out International Women’s Month, we teamed up with our friends over at Bustle to bring you the latest data on the porn viewing interests of women. Over the last few years, Pornhub has taken a closer look at female visitors in our What Women Want and More of What Women Want posts. In both cases, much of our focus was comparing women to men to see how their porn viewing habits differ. For Women’s Day, we decided to leave men out of the picture, and looking at how women around the world differ from each other.
Germany in Review
Our statisticians last studied German Insights in 2014, so the folks at Welt.de asked us for an update. Since 2014, Germany’s traffic rank dropped from 4th place to 5th for countries bring the most traffic to Pornhub, although the overall traffic from the country grew. In this edition of Pornhub Insights we not only look at Germans in general, but delve into the various regions to see how porn preferences vary across the country.

After having carefully studied a bunch of other Mediterranean countries like Spain, Italy and Croatia to name a few, our statisticians have been curious about the viewing habits of our users in Greece for quite some time now. Currently ranking 21st worldwide in terms of the number of visitors to Pornuhb, the Greek are quite the patriotic bunch when it comes to the type of content they enjoy on the site, as we’ll see later on in our coverage. Coming of Age: Millennials
The Millennial generation, members of which are also sometimes referred to as Echo Boomers, consists of the demographic cohort born roughly between the years 1982 and 2000. Through a special collaboration with our friends over at Mic.com, we’re taking a look at the particular way that Pornhub’s 18-34 users interact with the largest adult site in the world. Touted by some as the most tech savvy generation to date, millennials are generally known for being glued to their phones and sharing all aspects of their lives on social media. Thanks in part to the open and rapid access to information afforded to this group by the web in their formative years, the sense of media awareness and general world views of these 18-34 year-olds truly sets them apart from previous generations in the way that they consume online.
