This June, we’re honoring our incredible LGBTQ+ creators who help make Pornhub a more vibrant, inclusive space every day. Throughout the month, we’ll spotlight our ongoing collaborations with queer creators and pay tribute to the pioneers who’ve shaped LGBTQ+ representation in the adult industry.
Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of working closely with our diverse creator community to enhance and personalize their experience on Pornhub. Diversity and authenticity are at the heart of who we are, and these conversations helped us better understand the unique needs and challenges faced by creators across the spectrum. The insights we gained were invaluable—and many of the suggestions we heard have already been put into action.

Updated Profile Settings
If you primarily create content targeted towards a gay audience but your profile is set to “Interested in: Guys and Girls,” your content will appear on Pornhub rather than PornhubGay—limiting its visibility to your target audience.
Updating your settings to “Interested in: Guys” helps ensure your content reaches the right viewers, which can significantly improve your Model rank, Tier, and overall earnings.
We’ve already partnered with over 50 Models to update their settings and transition their profiles to PornhubGay—and the impact has been remarkable. Fifteen of these creators now rank among the Top 100 Most Popular Models on PornhubGay, highlighting the power of visibility and community alignment. Take a look at Will Tantra below – his ranking soared after making the switch.
Will Tantra: A Success Story in Account Optimization
Will Tantra was the first Model we partnered with as part of our account optimization initiative. In January 2024, Freedom noticed that Will’s Model rank was sitting at 4,086 on Pornhub—a surprisingly low position given his strong reputation as a gay performer and his substantial social media following.
After a detailed review of his account, we worked closely with Will to update his profile settings and transition his content to PornhubGay. The results were immediate and impressive: his Model rank skyrocketed from 4,086 to 38 in one week!
Will has continued to thrive—earning the title of Top Daddy Performer at the 6th Annual Pornhub Awards and currently holds a Model rank of 31 on PornhubGay.
We also collaborated with several Trans Masc performers whose content deeply resonates with the PornhubGay audience—and the results were positive. Through one-on-one conversations and support from our data team, we analyzed viewer engagement to better understand who was watching their content. When it became clear that the majority of their audience consisted of gay men, we worked with these Models to update their profile settings and transition their content to PornhubGay.
Here are the impressive results:
- Stevie Trixx | Rank improved from 13,922 on Pornhub to 309 on PornhubGay
- Trip Richards | Rank improved from 18,275 on Pornhub to 221 on PornhubGay
These ranking boosts led to increased visibility, more views, a surge in subscribers—and ultimately, greater ad revenue for these talented creators.
Stevie Trixx has seen stronger performance on PornhubGay and also won Most Popular Trans Masc Performer at the 6th Annual Pornhub Awards.

Taste Selector
If you’ve clicked the three horizontal lines in the top left corner of the homepage, you may have noticed a new feature: the Taste Selector. This update makes it easier than ever to personalize your experience by filtering content based on your preferences—whether you're into straight, gay, Trans, or lesbian content. It’s all about helping you explore what you love, faster and more seamlessly.
We introduced the Taste Selector because sexuality isn’t one-size-fits-all. People explore different interests at different times, and this tool makes that journey easier—with just a simple click. It not only enhances the user experience by delivering more personalized content, but it also boosts visibility for our diverse creator community by helping their content reach the audiences who are mostly likely to engage with it.
New Subscriber Milestones for Model Achievements
Our Model Achievement Program rewards you as your fanbase grows, starting with free Pornhub merch when you reach 25,000 subscribers.
Through creator feedback, we realized that reaching this milestone was way more challenging for Models on PornhubGay, where the community is smaller and more niche. To better support our creator community active on PornhubGay, last year we introduced a 10,000-subscriber milestone—so more Models can be recognized and rewarded for their growth and popularity.

Updated User Experience
In the past, users browsing gay, Trans, or lesbian categories sometimes encountered ads that didn’t quite match the content—like straight-targeted ads appearing on PornhubGay.
With our latest site updates, ad placements are now better matched to the content being viewed—ensuring a more relevant and personalized experience. This change helps reflect user preferences more accurately and enhances overall engagement by supporting the content viewers actually want to see.

More Updates In The Pipeline
We're not done yet. We’re continuing to build a more inclusive and authentic experience across the gay, lesbian, and Trans sections of our site. Our upcoming roadmap includes a series of updates designed to ensure LGBTQ+ content is properly categorized, thoughtfully curated, and prominently featured—helping creators connect with the audiences who are most likely to appreciate and engage with it.
These improvements will enhance personalization and increase visibility for queer creators across the platform. We’re also updating language and category structures to give Trans creators more control over how they represent themselves, making it easier for viewers to discover diverse and genuine content that reflects their preferences.
