Today Pornhub Insights is taking a look at the Republic of Belarus, an Eastern European country bordered by Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania and Latvia. Although Belarus only ranks 66th for traffic to Pornhub, they are 92nd worldwide for population.
Comic Con 2017 San Diego
The San Diego Comic-Con took place from July 20th to 23rd 2017. What began as a small gathering of 145 comic fans in 1970, has grown exponentially to become one of the world’s largest pop-culture expositions including comics, movies, horror, anime, collectibles and video games. It now attracts nearly 150,000 visitors annually to the San Diego area. Our friends at Gizmodo checked in to see if Comic Con and it’s visitors had any effect on Pornhub’s searches.
Game of Thrones Season 7 Premiere Traffic
The highly anticipated Game of Thrones Season 7 premiered on Sunday July 16, so our friends at Cinema Blend checked in to see what effect it had on Pornhub’s traffic during the first episode. Our statisticians found that across the United States, traffic to Pornhub was down by 4.5% during the airing. That’s a considerable change in visitors as Sunday night is one of the most popular times for people to visit Pornhub.

North Korea Insights
Pornography of any sort is officially banned in North Korea, but Google Analytics does still report regular incoming traffic — albeit only a few thousand visitors to Pornhub over the course of 2016 and 2017.
