On April 20th, Utah’s governor Gary Herbert signed legislation declaring porn a public health crisis. Wait what?! Ok, Gary seems like a nice enough guy, and we’re not here to judge. Pornhub Insights presents the facts, and only the facts exactly as we find them. So here’s the real low-down on how average Utahns enjoy their porn.
Utah ranks 34th in the United States for traffic coming to Pornhub, which exactly matches their rank for population size according to the most recent census. In 2015 we recorded 16 visits per capita from Utah visitors. That’s half of the 32 visits per capita we got from the nation’s capital of D.C., and puts Utah in 38th place nation-wide.
The average Utahn spends 9 minutes and 15 seconds each time they visit Pornhub, which is 36 seconds less than the U.S. average. 19% of Utah’s visitors are women, which is a full 4% below the U.S. average of 23% and 60% of visitors are millennials under the age of 35.

Utah’s favorite search term and category is “Lesbian”, as it is in many other parts of the United States. The second most viewed category is “Hentai”, followed by “MILF” and “Anal”.

As for Utah’s relative searches – those viewed more when compared to other states – “cosplay” comes out on top with an increase of 116%. They’re 80% more likely to search for “creampie” compared to other states, and 50% more likely to look for “mormon” porn.

Interestingly, we found that Utahns will search for “yoga” 57% more often and “gym” 54% more often than other Americans, which is perhaps why we found that they’re one of states least-interested in Big Beautiful Women (BBW). We also found out that Utahns are “boob” lovers when we compared Boobs and Butts searches across the U.S. of A.
The following map illustrates how Utah’s visits per capita in 2015 differed from the rest of the United States.
