Pornhub Cares Launches “Panda Style” Fundraising Campaign in Time for National Panda Day
Adult Entertainment Sites Encourages Users to Help Giant Pandas Procreate by Uploading Videos of Themselves Fornicating for Scientists and Zookeepers to Show to Pandas to Get Them in the Mood
New York, NY (March 16, 2017) – Today, Pornhub, the premier online destination for adult entertainment, announced the launch of “Panda Style,” its newest Pornhub Cares initiative, intended to help save the giant panda species from becoming endangered due to a low birthrate caused by its reluctance to breed. Launching on National Panda Day, the adult entertainment behemoth is inviting its fans to suit up in panda costumes or makeup and film videos of themselves fornicating, which scientists and zookeepers will show to pandas to get them in the mood. This is a method already employed by scientists, though there is a shortage of quality videos for this purpose which is why Pornhub has stepped in. As part of the campaign, Pornhub will donate $100 for every video uploaded and will donate 1 cent for every video view in its brand new “Panda Style” category, starting today through April 16 to nonprofit organizations working to ensure the preservation and propagation of the endangered giant panda.
“Considering wood is a main staple of a panda’s diet, it’s especially surprising that they only mate a few times per year, if at all. Thus, in celebration of National Panda Day, we wanted to do our part and help grow the dwindling panda population” said Corey Price, VP, Pornhub. “Pornhub is home to a bustling amateur community, featuring videos uploaded by our fans from across the world. We encourage them to don a panda costume, film themselves doing it ‘Panda Style ’ (NSFW) and upload it onto Pornhub. Through this initiative we hope to not only generate quality content scientists and zookeepers can use to show pandas, but also raise adequate funds for a nonprofit organization to ensure the livelihood of the world’s giant panda population.”
