This video challenges the use of the words “sex addict” and explains why sex addiction, at least as a mental health definition, does not exist as well as how it stigmatizes any sex that is deemed “wrong” by our culture. Instead, I talk about sexual behavior that feels out of control, what to do about it, and how to get support from a professional who will not shame diverse sexual practices.
