This week on Model Citizens — our Pornhub interview series — we touched base with the stunning Sweet Bunny who shared her thoughts on the industry, how it's affected her relationship, and how she uses different platforms to market herself.

What gave you the idea to film and upload your first video?
It’s actually a funny story! It happened on one very hot day in July when my boyfriend and I were very bored! You know when you just want to stay in bed all day and do nothing? That was our vibe that day. After awhile, we decided to watch some porn and have sex. We stumbled on a video from Danika Mori and the video we watched definitely did its job (thank you Danika Mori for that)! While we were in the middle of it, I joked with my boyfriend and asked, “Hey, why don’t we make a couple of videos for fun?” We uploaded our first video after three days. We received positive feedback from the awesome Pornhub users even though the video was recorded with a very old camera and with no lighting at all! The positive feedback and the fact that we’re both open-minded and curious about trying new things helped us create more content, and this is how it all got started.
Why did you pick the name Sweet Bunny?
I didn't think much about it actually. I figured I can always change it if I don't like it. Why Sweet Bunny specifically? Because my boyfriend always jokes around, calling me his Little Bunny. So I included “Bunny” and added “Sweet” because Sweet Bunny sounds better than Little Bunny!
How has your perception changed since joining the indusry?
Like many others outside of the porn industry, I thought sex workers had an easy job. They just have sex and earn a ton of money for it. I quickly realized that I was completely wrong. I learned that hard work and determination is required to succeed in this industry.
Like any other job, you need to love what you do and enjoy every minute of it. What surprised me, in a good way, is the fact that we made many friends on Pornhub and they all make you feel like you're part of an incredible community. However, what did disappoint me, was how some people really hate sex workers. Trying to make them understand that we are as normal as them is a daily struggle. In the end, you are in control of your own happiness, and if being a sex worker makes you happy, then why listen to haters?

How has it affected you as a couple?
Our only rule is we don't do anything we don't enjoy! Doing amateur porn as a couple helped us improve and strengthen our bond. Now we're a team, we’re lovers, we’re friends, and we’re co-workers. Porn made us healthier, pushed us to try new sports, and helped us travel more! And a major bonus is that our sex life will never be affected by an unpleasant routine.
How do you use social media to market yourself?
I try to engage with my fans as much as possible! Twitter is my favourite platform because it's adult-friendly and I had an account from day one. I just started an Instagram account, but I try to avoid using it because I've heard many models got banned. Reddit is also an awesome platform where you can promote your content and engage with your fans. It takes awhile to get used to Reddit and Subreddit, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be fine. I also try to reply and comment to every message I get on my accounts. This way, I can create a relationship with all my followers. I love it and I hope they do too!
How do you market yourself?
We like to engage with our fans as much as possible. We create promo clips, awesome GIFs, and photo teasers for our new videos. We post them on all our social media accounts. We're also very active on Pornhub — we reply to every comment and message we get. We also love commenting on videos from other popular models.

What kind of filming equipment do you use? Any tips for new models?
During the first two months, we recorded with an old Nikon COOLPIX L840, but we weren’t happy with the end results. After that, we bought a Sony Handycam that can record 4K videos. We have it for over 7 months already and we still use it to this day. For the hardcore videos that involve liquids, we use a GoPro HERO 7 Black. We’re always looking to improve the quality, so we bought a Sony a7 III and it's actually an amazing camera.
As for lighting, if you could use natural lighting, then your videos will look amazing. We use two small softboxes when we can't get natural light in the room. Lately, we’ve been using an external microphone to improve the audio. The audio is also important when you want to create a well-balanced porn video. For new models, I have a simple piece of advice — don't stress, never compare yourself to others, and be patient.
What fetishes have you experienced with?
I can actually enjoy anything! I'm a big fan of hard deepthroats and face slapping. I also like being tied up, knowing that he is in control. Having sex in public places is also a huge turn on for both of us — that thrill of knowing that you can get caught at any time is fantastic!
If you could go back in time to when you first started on Pornhub, what’s one piece of advice you would give yourself?
I would tell myself, "Be who you want to be and don’t care about what others think." You get criticized a lot and this can affect your self-esteem! People can be very mean for no reason, but you need to ignore them and always try to be the best version of yourself!”
