Brooke Tilli and her husband Keane have been creating high-quality home videos with inventive scripts and professional-level production for the last year on Pornhub. During this time, Brooke has accumulated over 175K subscribers on her profile! Today, she shares strategic tips for her booming popularity, talks about production techniques, leveraging Pornhub to grow her fanbase, and hints at some goals for the future!
Tell us about Brooke Tilli’s origin story! How did your love for photography morph into creating spicy content with your high-school sweetheart?
Keane (my husband) and I have been together since we were in high school. After graduating, he got a job in construction, and I was waitressing part-time. Keane knew how much I loved photography and bought me my first camera as a wedding gift. I was not a very good waitress, but I loved taking photos and modeling, so I posted some ads online as a freelance photographer in hopes of building a small business over time, which ended up working out. I was able to quit waitressing! We were both so happy and took pride in our jobs. Then Covid changed everything. Keane lost his job in construction and people were uncomfortable meeting for photoshoots. We started thinking about ways to make money from home. I remember saying one night to Keane, "You know those websites for cam models? They can make so much money from the safety of their home..." We always joked with each other that we should be porn stars because we have great sex. So, we signed up on a site and went live, and our late-night experiment turned out to be a fun success.
Cam shows were going great, but they were mostly solo, and after some time streaming started taking a toll on our relationship. We were arguing so much from the long hours of live streaming alone and not spending enough time together. Thats when Keane got the idea to upload clips from my cam shows to Pornhub alongside our own videos we started making.

Making the most of our opportunity to promote our brand requires a well-thought-out strategy. Most importantly, I don't want my fans to feel like they're missing out; rather, I want them to recognize the added value they can access through my paid content on other sites. And let's face it, nobody likes a boring ad. As a content creator, not a salesperson, my goal is to create ads that seamlessly blend into the viewing experience, allowing you to enjoy them as an integral part of the video.
Within a year of joining the Model Program, you’ve already reached 175K subscribers on your profile! What’s the secret to your growing success?
Achieving 175K subscribers within a year of joining the Model Program has been an incredible journey. I truly believe the secret behind my growing success lies in a few key things that have guided me:
- Consistent quality: I prioritize delivering high-quality, engaging content in every video. Consistency in the quality of my production has helped build trust and keep viewers coming back.
- Connection: I focus on building a genuine connection with my audience. I do this by responding to comments, listening to feedback, and understanding their preferences.
- Unique perspective: I offer a unique perspective or niche within my content. By carving out a distinct identity in a crowded space, I've been able to attract viewers who resonate with my style and look.
- Adaptability: Staying on top of trends and adapting my content to an evolving audience keeps my channel fresh and relevant.
- Hard work and patience: Growing a channel takes time and effort. Consistent hard work, patience, and a genuine passion for what we do have been important for our journey.
Tell us about shooting your content at home? What kind of camera, lights and sound equipment do you use?
Through careful design, I've created a cozy and adaptable environment that acts as the canvas for my videos, all while maintaining a professional level of quality. The Sony a6400 has been my go-to for capturing high-resolution videos. Its versatility and advanced capabilities are perfect for achieving the professional look I want for my videos. However, I'm currently transitioning to the Sony a7 IV, mostly due to its extended battery life, which promises uninterrupted filming sessions. Additionally, I incorporate a compact LED light that ensures optimal illumination even in nuanced settings. For pristine audio quality, I rely on a RODE directional microphone, ensuring that the audio is equally immersive and captivating. Enhancing the natural lighting, or compensating for its absence, is where the soft box lights come into play. We will use 1 or 2 if the conditions call for it. Though recently we painted every wall in our home light grey and upgraded the lighting to try and not have to use soft box lights so much, we move around so much when we are filming it is tricky keeping them out of frame sometimes.
What’s a typical “work” day like for you? From planning, shooting, editing, marketing and content management – how do you tackle and devote time for each?
As a Model, my typical workdays are a dynamic blend of creativity and strategy. Here's how I approach each aspect of content creation:
- Planning: Planning is the backbone of my content. Throughout the week, I carve out pockets of time with Keane to brainstorm video ideas, research trends, and outline scripts, mapping out the flow and structure of each video. This organized approach ensures that our content is well-prepared and engaging for our viewers.
- Shooting: When our dedicated filming day arrives, we kickstart it with a delightful breakfast and a steaming cup of coffee, all while reviewing the meticulously crafted script for our upcoming video. As the preparations unfold, Keane sets the stage for the scene, while I take a moment to ensure I'm camera-ready. Once the camera stops rolling, we safeguard the footage on our computer and reward ourselves with a visit to a fancy restaurant.
- Editing: Editing is where the magic truly happens. Following the shooting day, Keane will devote multiple days to editing. This includes arranging clips, enhancing visuals, perfecting transitions, and refining audio. He loves taking his time during this phase to ensure a polished and engaging final product.
- Marketing and content management: Here's where multitasking comes into play. While Keane is busy with the editing process, we also do marketing and content management. I will get cute photos from our video scene or maybe we will film exclusive content for our video outro promo. Simultaneously, I engage with my audience through social media, responding to comments and building a sense of community. Yet, adaptability remains key. If an exciting marketing opportunity arises, I'm ready to adjust my schedule to seize the moment. Additionally, I actively listen to audience feedback, allowing me to pivot my content strategy to cater to their evolving interests.
Each task is carefully slotted into my schedule, contributing to my growth and success as a Model.
Consistently uploading new content is one of the best ways to keep your fans coming back for more. Tell us how this is incorporated into your growth strategy?
Maintaining a consistent weekly upload schedule has been a key factor in keeping my audience engaged. However, I've recently made a strategic shift in my approach. While I used to upload weekly, my focus has evolved toward prioritizing consistent quality over rushing to release content on a set schedule.
Rather than adhering to a rigid weekly schedule, I now aim to strike a balance between quality and frequency. This approach allows me to explore more in-depth topics and experiment with different formats. As I refine my skills as a content creator, there's a greater likelihood that I'll be able to consistently produce high-quality videos that make me proudest on a weekly basis.
The storylines in your videos are always so creative! Tell us more about your script writing process.
Crafting captivating storylines is a passion of ours! It all begins with a spark of inspiration. If we know what video idea we are doing ahead of time, then we usually have a good idea of what we want to do before we even begin the scripting writing process.
We start with getting our giant pieces of paper and about 10 different colored markers, each color having its own meaning. For example: blue for POV moments, red for tripod camera, green for Keane's dialog, pink for my dialog. Staying as organized as possible helps us craft a really unique, engaging script.
What’s a typical weekend like for you and your hubby, Keane? Who helps decide which show to watch and who helps pick the accompanying wine?
We've always been spontaneous, but since joining Pornhub, our schedules have gotten even less predictable! When we have the chance to unwind, Keane is usually the one with the remote and I'm the one choosing our drinks! We also like to go on nature walks to take photos and think of new ideas for our channel. Pornhub and content creation has become such a huge part of our lives that we genuinely enjoy spending our down-time thinking of new ideas!
What are you most looking forward to in the future as a content creator?
I'm looking forward to making my awesome fans many more creative videos and getting even better at what I do. It's like a fun journey of learning and creating that I can't wait to continue!
What’s the next big goal for Brooke Tilli?
The next big goal for me is to move to a more convenient home both inside and outside. I want to be able to get as creative as possible with my videos. The home I live in right now was chosen when I was live streaming. There’s a lot of room inside, but not a lot of privacy or space outdoors. Now that I am creating content full time for Pornhub, I can't help but think of how convenient another location would be.
