As we hit the halfway mark of 2025, we’re excited to share several new features designed to improve your experience on Pornhub. From sleeker Model profiles to a new subscriber system and enhanced content tools, here’s what’s new and how it benefits you.
Co-Performer Tagging for Older Videos
We recently audited all content on our platform to ensure it meets current performer verification requirements. If any of your videos were removed, don’t worry—they’re not gone for good. You can reinstate them by making sure all performers are properly verified and tagged as either:
- An approved Collaborator, or
- A verified Co-Performer with valid consent documentation
To check which videos have been removed, go to your Video Manager and filter for “Missing IDs.”

Updated Model Profiles on Mobile Devices
You may have noticed some updates to your Model profile when using mobile devices. With a sleek, modernized layout, fans can now subscribe to your account a little easier, send DM requests, and access all your external links in one convenient place.
If you haven’t updated your cover photo recently, now’s the perfect time! The new banner design takes up more visual space, making it a great opportunity to showcase your brand.
Shorties
Last March, we introduced the Shorties carousel. If you’ve uploaded at least one vertical video, the algorithm will automatically generate a Shorties section on your profile. Haven’t tried it yet? We recommend uploading a vertical video to take advantage of this scroll-based feed. With over 90% of traffic coming from mobile devices, Shorties are a powerful way to get discovered, increase your visibility, and attract new fans.
Shorties Export Button
We’ve added a new feature to give you even more control over how and where your content appears. There’s now an option to only publish videos to the Shorties section.
Publishing to Shorties only ensures your vertical videos will appear in the Shorties feed. This option is ideal for creators to experiment with bite-sized clips, teasers, and mobile-friendly content, while giving you free advertising to your paysites with the More of Me button.
Users who are exclusively scrolling vertical videos can easily discover your content and have a direct link to your other sites, straight from your video.
To use it, simply check the “Publish to Shorties Only” box during upload, it’s that easy!
Your Friends Are Now Your Subscribers
In our last product update, we announced that the “Friends” feature would soon be transitioning to “Subscribers” and that update is now live.
So, what’s new?
- Existing friends have been converted to subscribers
- Friend requests are replaced by subscribers
- Subscribers will be notified when you post new content
Implementing new features required us to change a few of the old ones. Here’s what’s been updated:
- Sharing private videos is now done via unlisted links. Only those you share the link with can see the video.
- Privacy settings set to “Friends” is now set to “Only Me”
- Chats with friends remain, but new messages from subscribers appear as chat requests
How does this benefit you? This update modernizes the platform and helps you grow your audience faster, which means more subscribers and faster access to Model Achievement Awards.
