We kicked off the year with a fabulous run at the AVN Expo & Awards earlier this month with our official Pornhub ambassador Kira Noir taking home the ultimate prize for Female Performer of the Year! Maybe we're biased, but we can't think of a more deserving person! Kira's hard work and professionalism embody the essence of the Pornhub values and we're so proud to call her a member of our black-and-orange family! Pants off - I mean - hats off to Kira Noir!

Whether you’re new to the program or a seasoned vet, it’s always good to have a refresher on what’s going on in the Model Program.
The Model Program continues to grow in exponential numbers, which means wait times from support can get a little lengthy during busy periods. Don’t wait for answers that you can easily find by searching the Help Center or Pornhub Blog! The Help Center is up to date with information and instructions on how to navigate the program, the verification process, earnings and payments, and frequently asked questions about the everyday workings of the Model Program.
In the summer of 2022, we re-launched the Pornhub blog with a new look and search function so you can find exactly what you’re looking for. Check out the Model Spotlight series for interviews and advice from top performing Models. The Community News section has contributions from industry pros, sexual wellness educators and mental health experts to provide you with free tools to succeed in your professional and personal life. You’ll find discussions and thoughtful reflections on sex work, gender, BDSM and kink, health, and more. And yes, notifications are back for new blog posts!
Optimize Your Profile, Content and Brand
Branding
There are quite literally hundreds of thousands of Models in the Model Program all making adult content. Spin it whichever way you want, porn can become repetitive pretty quickly; realistically there are only so many different ways you can f❤︎ck. So what makes you stand out from the rest of the blurry thumbnails of flesh-on-flesh action? Ask yourself, out of the hundreds of thousands of videos available for free across the Pornhub network, why should someone engage with your content? Figure out what makes you unique; what do you offer that no one else does? What makes you you, and why should viewers care? If you can answer those questions and build a brand identity around that, you’re on the right path!
Your Profile
Your Pornhub profile is the perfect one-stop-shop for housing your links, info, photos and videos. Think of it as your own Wikipedia page for your adult content. Your profile should give a good sense of who you are, what you look like, what kind of content you make and how fans should interact with you!
Make sure you have an up to date, high-quality, enticing avatar and cover photo that encapsulate the essence of you and your work. This should be in line with your personal brand image. If you haven’t updated your bio since you made your profile in 2019, now is the time! Having an up-to-date profile shows fans you actively engage online, which in turn encourages them to engage with you, which is good for business!
Having links on your profile is a great way to make new fans and retain them. Many Models have had their Instagram and Twitter accounts suspended or deleted. If you’ve made new social media accounts, remember to update the link on your profile to ensure smooth redirects. Take a moment to ensure your personal website and social links lead to the correct pages to help your fans find you! Content
The best branding and marketing in the world won’t bring you success if the quality of your content doesn’t match up. Here are some basic pointers to keep in mind when uploading this year.
1. Upload consistently and share your schedule with your fans on social media so they know when your latest video is available.
2. Try to upload 1 new video every week at the same time. We suggest uploading no less than two original videos every month.
3. Size matters! Videos that are 10 minutes or longer perform better than shorter videos.
4. Check out the Get More Views section for advice on marketing, creating better content, leveraging social media, and optimizing your profile by using metadata correctly to extend your online reach. Titles, tags and categories will help viewers find your videos. Be sure that they represent your content accurately to avoid disappointment.
