June is Pride Month, and we’re excited to share fresh data from our statisticians suggesting what types of gay porn people around the world enjoy most!
Most Viewed Gay Categories
Unlike last year’s Pride Insights, where the Bareback category dominated North America and the Twink category dominated South America, tastes gay content have branched out. In Canada, they couldn’t get enough Big Dick. To their neighbors in the south, The USA showed a special interest in Black adult performers. And further down to South America, Brazil loved the Big Dick category, the middle of the continent wanted to see the Twink category, and along the western coast in Chile, Black was also the most viewed category.
On the other side of the Atlantic, the Twink category dominated large sections of Europe and all of Russia. The Group sex category was also popular, as were the Daddy and Cartoon porn categories.
In Australia, they were loving on the Bareback category. And in Africa, there was a lot more variety of tastes. The Black category was dominating in popularity, but the Bareback, Twink and Group categories also had many viewers.
Gay Porn Viewer Demographics
Gay porn continues to see a relatively balanced mix of male and female interest. 53% of the audience is male and 47% of the audience is female. This year, the female audience grew +4 percentage points, up from 43% in 2024. Our statisticians relate this to their interest in watching Solo Male content, which is often created by gay performers.
Breaking it down into age groups, the one with the highest number of viewers was the 18-24 group, consisting of 27% of all views. The 25-34 age group consisted of 20%. Those percentages go down until they reach the 65+ age group, who make up 11% of all gay porn viewers.
That said, when looking at the relative popularity between the age groups, those numbers reverse. The 18-24 year olds are –4% as likely to watch gay porn compared to other groups. And the 65+ age group are +39% more likely to view it. This suggests that while the 65+ age group only make up 11% of all viewers, they are +39% more likely to watch gay porn than any other age groups.
Digging deeper into the interests of each age group, our statisticians found some generational taste differences and overlaps. For example, the 18-24 age group and the 65+ age group enjoyed the Military category +92% and +68% more, respectively, than other age groups.
The 18-24 age group showed a particular interest in Tattooed Men this year, at +132% compared to other groups. Last year, they were +310% more interested in Cartoon porn, which dropped down to +57% this year. The 25-34 group were +77% more interested in Japanese. The 35-44 age group showed more interest in Black content compared to others. And the 45-54 age group liked Pornstar +123% more than other groups.
Most Viewed Performers by Gay Visitors
The most viewed performer was Malik Delgaty. Following him were Joey Mills and Foxy Alex.
Among the many popular gay performers were also some straight performers, indicated below by an asterisk. Popular straight performers such as Johnny Sins, Gattouz0, and Maximo Garcio made the top 25 list.
United States
In the USA, there were 4 categories that dominated. Black was viewed most in the eastern and northern Midwest states, as well as Washington state and Nevada. Big Dick was popular in Alaska and California in the west, and Vermont, New Hampshire and Rhode Island in the east.
Straight Guys were most popular in Colorado, Iowa and Louisianna. And the Twink category was popular in Oregon, North Dakota, Arizona and New Mexico.
Breaking it down further, our statisticians wanted to know which categories were viewed more often in each state compared to others. Oregon and Colorado really liked Straight Guys and California loved Big Dick. Ohio enjoyed their Twink category while Georgia enjoyed Black. Up north, Minnesota liked Bear and North Dakota liked Daddy. Delaware liked Feet while Massachusetts liked Handjob. Rhode Island liked Uncut and New York loved Bareback.
Gay Porn Viewership by State
When compared to the national average, some states were a lot more interested in gay porn than others. The states with the highest proportional viewership were North Dakota, who watched +43% more gay porn, Vermont, who watched +40%, and Rhode Island, who watched +34% compared to the national average.
The states with the least viewership were Oregon, who proportionally watched –16% less gay porn compared to the national average, Iowa, who watched –12% less, and South Dakota, who watched –11% below the national average.
Europe
Looking a little deeper into European interests, we looked at which gay categories were viewed more often in each country compared to others. We found a spectrum of different tastes!
Iceland loved their Feet while Czechia preferred Handjob. Ukraine liked Group (sex) while Switzerland preferred Solo Male content. Poland liked Straight Guys and Ireland wanted more Daddy. Germany liked Uncut and Italy liked Blowjob. In Serbia, they watched more Casting content and in Georgia it was all about the Chubby category. In the UK, they viewed more Twink.
When our statisticians looked into the most viewed performers in the UK, Germany and Italy, they found a lot of overlap.
In the UK and Italy, Foxy Alex was the top viewed performer. In Germany, it was Malik Delgaty.
United Kingdom
When our statisticians analyzed gay porn viewing habits across the UK, they found the South East watched +77% more than the national average and Northern Ireland was +38% above average. Meanwhile, the North East watched -2% below the national average.
But what about the top relative categories in the UK? Compared to other regions, Reality was viewed +158% more in the East of England, Japanese was viewed +144% more in Wales, and Massage was viewed +128% more in Yorkshire and Humber.
Germany
In Germany, Bremen in the north watched +45% more gay porn than the national average and Berlin watched +29% more. In Hamburg, they watched –10% below average, and Brandenburg, Thüringen and Baden-Württenburg all watched –8% below average gay porn.
When looking at top relative gay categories in Germany, our statisticians found the Casting category was viewed +219% more in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern than other regions, the Black category was viewed +183% more in Rhineland-Palatinate than other regions, and Twink was viewed +159% more in Brandenburg, as well as Uncut at +159% in Hamburg than other regions.
Italy
In Italy, Molise watched +94% more gay porn than the national average, followed by Sardegna at +27% above average and Calabria at +20% above average. In contrast, Valle d’Aosta watched –68% below the national average and Basilicata watched –23% below average.
Looking at the top relative categories for the region, our statisticians found that Friuli-Venezia Giulia viewed the Jock category +195% more compared to other Italian regions. Trentino-South Tyrol viewed the Virtual Reality category 132% more than other regions, and Sardinia viewed the Solo Male category +115% more than other regions.
