Herpes And Genital Warts
Q: Do you think herpes and genital warts deserve the stigma that they have? After doing extensive research about the two, I feel like they don’t, but I’d like your take on it. 🙂
A: No I do not. All you have to look at is the sheer volume of people who are infected with either Herpes or HPV or both. At any given time, 16% of the population between the ages of 14 and 49 have genital herpes (HSV-2). For oral herpes (HSV-1), that number jumps to 50% of the population. Interestingly, many people have no idea they have herpes because they are asymptomatic. The same is true of HPV, the cause of genital warts. Genital warts are probably the most common sexually transmitted infection. Research shows that at least 75% of the population will contract HPV. Many of these infections will go unnoticed, with no symptoms, and will go away on their own. And some strains can lead to cervical cancer in women (which is why regular PAP tests are necessary) and in rare cases, penile cancer. If you see a wart, see your doctor and have it treated. Unfortunately, there is no sure way to avoid these infections if one is sexually active. The best protection is of course the use of condoms, but these two STIs are transmitted by skin-to-skin contact below the belt—which includes areas not covered by a condom. As for the stigma, so much of sexuality is stigmatized because much of the population lack some basic knowledge. Thus, with misinformation and just a lack of information, people make erroneous assumptions, and myths are propagated. It’s sad!
Size And Race Stereotypes
Q: Are Black mens’ dicks really that much bigger? I’ve seen the slang “BBC” all over my girlfriend’s web history. And I’m scared I am is going to lose the ability to make her orgasm.
A: First of all, women generally need clitoral stimulation, so the size of the penis does not really impact this, as long as you are using your hands, mouth, and penis well to provide this kind of stimulation. Her watching BBC porn is just a fantasy, and does not indicate that she is not satisfied with you or your penis. If you were looking at huge-breasted women in porn but your partner is average-sized, it doesn’t imply that your partner does not satisfy you does it? To answer your question about penis size and race, I can tell you that this is not supported by scientific evidence. Penis size is slightly correlated with height but that’s about it. Here is a great resource that explores all the penis size myths backed by research. Also, why are you looking at her web history?
