When Pornhub Insights recently studied the Long and Short of Porn Watching, we found that of the 100 porn categories available, it was redhead videos that got people off the fastest – by an impressive 2 and a half minutes! In a hurry next time? Head to Pornhub’s redhead category. Our friends at Buzzfeed asked what secrets these sexy scarlets may hold, so we delved deeper into who, what and where people are searching for redheads.
The most popular redhead search is simply “redhead”, followed by “redhead big tits” and then “ginger”. Pornhub users like all types of redheads including “pale redhead”, “busty redhead”, “curvy redhead” and “chubby redhead”.
Men are 131% more likely to search for redheads when compared to women. Visitors in the 45 to 54 age groups are the most interested in redheads, but over 65 people are 17% less likely to search for redheads compared to all other age groups.
Worldwide it’s visitors from the Czech Republic that are most likely to search for redheads, followed by Ireland and the United Kingdom. Many of the top 20 countries are based in Europe, where proportionately there are more red heads than elsewhere in the world.
In the United States, it’s visitors from Montana, Wyoming, Alaska and Idaho who are more likely to search for redhead videos. The states of Vermont and Hawaii are far less likely to search for redheads based on the proportion of all searches.
To see how redheads stacked up again other hair colors, we checked to see what categories were most viewed worldwide. While Blonde takes the cake, Brunette is quite popular in Russia and Eastern Europe as well as Brazil. We found that only a few countries like the Philippines, Armenia, Belize and Brunei view the redhead category more often than other hair colors.
Worldwide, the blonde category is viewed 57% more often than redhead, and brunette is viewed 36% more often. In the United States, only the blonde and brunette categories are the most viewed by state. Much of the North West prefers brunette, while blonde is the most viewed category in the Southern states.
