In this edition of Insights we’re continuing our European coverage with FM1 Today and the porn viewing habits of Swiss visitors. Switzerland ranks 31st for traffic to Pornhub, well ahead of it worldwide population rank of 99. The most popular search in Switzerland is “swiss”, followed by “deutsch” and “german”.
The most viewed category of video in Switzerland is Anal (NSFW), followed by Lesbian and Mature.
When compared to elsewhere in the world, Swiss visitors are proportionately 287% more likely to view the German category, 98% more into French and 97% more into Pissing.
The most searched for people and pornstars in Switzerland are Lucy Cat, Lexy Roxx and Mia Khalifa.
Women represent 24% of Swiss visitors, just behind the worldwide average of 26%. The average age of visitors from Switzerland is 37 years old, with Millennials between the ages of 18-34 representing 53% of all visitors.
Only 69% of Swiss visitors are using mobile devices such as Smartphones and Tablets to view Pornhub, whereas the worldwide average has climbed to 80% mobile viewership.
On average, visitors from Switzerland spend 10 minutes and 8 seconds each time they visit Pornhub, compared to the worldwide average of 9 minutes and 59 seconds. Some Swiss regions come and go a bit quicker like the Canton of Zug at -32 seconds compared to national average, while visitors from Glarus hold out for 24 seconds longer.
People from different regions also have different porn tastes as illustrated in the following chart. For example, Thurgau borders with Germany so views of the German category are 34% and 41% higher, respectively. Geneva borders with France, so views of the French category are proportionately 109% more popular there.
Swiss visitors to Pornhub’s gay (male) (NSFW) pages most often view the Twink, Bareback and Big Dick categories.
When compared to gay pageviews worldwide, Swiss visitors are proportinately 86% more likely to view the Cumshot category, 75% more into Feet and 62% more into gay Fetish videos.
