When The Irish Mirror asked us to dig into Ireland’s favorite searches, our statisticians happily fulfilled their request!
Ireland ranks 42nd for traffic to Pornhub, compared to 125th worldwide for population. On average, Irish visitors spend 9 minutes and 38 seconds on Pornhub, which is 31 seconds less than the worldwide average.
The most popular searches in Ireland match similar trends happening elsewhere in the world. The first most popular search was “milf” followed by “irish” (keeping up with the trend of locals being interested in other locals), and the third most popular search term was “lesbian.” These three search terms dominated Ireland, having over twice the number of searches as the following popular terms.
For top relative categories, the Irish showed a particular interest in British with +343% higher average views than elsewhere in the world. After that, the numbers were less extreme, with Mature at +71%, Milf at +59%, and the gay category, Daddy, at +59% as well.
When our statisticians broke down top relative search terms by region, Ireland showed a vast range of sexual interests. In the northern region of Donegal, they couldn’t get enough “old” porn. This aligns with the overall boom of the Golden Age theme in our 2023 Year in Review. Other areas of interest in the north include “bbc” in Sligo, “cheating” in Monaghan, “tiny” in Cavan, and over in Mayo they were cooking it up with “kitchen.”
Heading south, Kerry liked “amateur” while Wexford liked “big cocks.” In Cork they showed a special interest in “fingering” while next door in Waterford they enjoyed their “big latinas.”
On the west coast, Clare liked searching for “gay lovers” and Galway liked “interracial.” On the other side, in the east, Wicklow enjoyed “hairy pussy” while Dublin couldn’t get enough “cum.” Up in the northeast, Louth particularly enjoyed “pissing.”
