Philadelphia Super Bowl Parade

Hot on the heels of our 2018 Super Bowl Insights, Pornhub’s statisticians focused in on Philadelphia’s traffic change during their February 8th parade celebrating the Eagles’ win. While traffic from the city of brotherly love was up slightly before 9am, it began to drop by 10am as fans headed to the chilly streets to find a good view. By 11am, traffic was down -6% below that of an average Thursday, and as the celebrations continued, traffic remained below average until 3pm at which time there was a slight increase above average.

Philadelphia’s trending search terms on parade day included “superbowl”, “parade”, “football” and “cheerleader”. Their brotherly love showed through with a +173% increase in searches for “philadelphia”. The popular search “big dick” increased an additional +28% on parade day — perhaps due to Nick Foles’ new nickname “Big Dick Nick”.
