In this edition of Pornhub Insights we’ll be getting up close and personal with two popular face related sex acts: Deepthroat and Facesitting. Pornhub’s statisticians looked at the popularity of each search, and what type of Pornhub visitor is most likely to search for them.
Deepthroat currently ranks as the 129th most popular search on Pornhub and facesitting the 174th. That makes deepthroat as popular as terms like college, big boobs, gloryhole and masturbation. Facesitting’s popularity is about equal to searches for celebrity, casting, yoga and mature.
Deepthroat searches have slipped somewhat over the last few years. Popularity was highest in August of 2013 when the movie “Lovelace” starring Amanda Seyfried was released. The documentary/drama was about Linda Lovelace, star of the 1972 adult movie “Deep Throat” attributed with kicking off the golden age of porn. In our Vintage Porn Insights, we found that Linda Lovelace remains one of the most searched pornstars from the 1970s and 1980s.
Facesitting has gained popularity over the last 5 years, reaching its peak in April of 2016.
The most popular deepthroat related searches include “sloppy deepthroat”, “best deepthroat ever”, “bbc deepthroat”, “unbelievable deepthroat” and “dildo deepthroat”.
The most popular facesitting searches include “lesbian facesitting”, “bbw facesitting”, “femdom facesitting” and even “facesitting fart”.
Men are proportionately 91% more likely to search for deepthroat when compared to women. Visitors to Pornhub’s gay pages are 165% more likely to search for deepthroat when compared to non-gay visitors. The 25 to 34 age group is 24% more likely to search deepthroat when compared to all other age groups. Visitors over the age of 55 are the least likely to search deepthroat even if their generation may have felt the biggest impact from the 1972 break-out adult movie of the same name.
Women are proportionately 34% more likely to search for facesitting when compared to Pornhub’s male visitors. Millennials between the ages of 18 to 34 are the most likely to search for facesitting when compared to all other age groups.
Across the United States, visitors from Alaska are most likely to search for deepthroat, followed by visitors from Delaware, Rhode Island, and Michigan. Visitors from South and North Dakota are least likely to search for deepthroat.
Across the United States, visitors from New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, and Rhode Island are the most interested in facesitting. Visitors from Wyoming, Hawaii, and Montana are the least likely to search for facesitting.
Worldwide, visitors from Hungary are proportionately the most likely to be searching for deepthroat, followed closely by Canada, Romania, Sweden, and the United States. Visitors from Egypt, the Philippines, Bangladesh, and India are the least likely to search for deepthroat when compared to the rest of the world.
Pornhub’s visitors from Russia are the most likely to search for facesitting, along with Finland, Belarus, Norway, and Romania. Asian countries such as the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, and China are less likely to search facesitting when compared to the rest of the world.
