We recently had a look at the porn preferences of Irish Women, so in this edition of Pornhub Insights we’ve join with our friends at Joe.ie to reveal how Ireland’s different regions enjoy watching Pornhub.
Dublin accounts for 65% of Pornhub traffic coming for Ireland, and over the past year has had the most per-capita visits of 25. The region with the second most per-capita views is Louth at nearly 18 and Cork at just under 17.
We had also found in the 2016 Year in Review that Ireland ranks 6th worldwide for per-capita page views.
Categories and Searches
The most popular category across most of Ireland is “Lesbian”, followed closely by “MILF”. To really see how Irish porn tastes differ regionally, we can look at the top relative categories — the ones that are proportionately more popular in each county when compared to all others. The following map illustrates the great deal of variety.
In Ireland’s top 10 regions by traffic, the most searched for terms are mostly the same, but often in a different order. “Lesbian” searches again rank number 1, with the exception of Kerry, where “MILF” takes top marks. The other top search terms include “Irish”, “step mom and son”, “step mom”, “step sister”. Kildare stands out from the other top regions with “JOI” (jerk off instructions) making it’s top 5.
In Galway, views of the “Creampie” category are 20% more popular, and in Kerry “Celebrity” is viewed 26% more often.
Time Spent Per Visit
The amount of time spent per visit also varies greatly by region. The average Irish visitors spends about 9 minutes and 16 seconds each time they visit Pornhub. Visitors from Fingal come and go 13 seconds faster, while those in Longford spend an extra long 33 seconds.
