How long do the British last?

Our Pornhub statisticians are on a quest to discover what it is that drives people wild throughout the world, so we can better understand human nature. This time, we braved the gloomy weather and set our sights on the viewing habits of our friends in the UK.

At first glance, we see that people in the UK tend to watch more videos and last longer than most people around the world – way to go chaps! They last an average of 9 minutes and 42 seconds, which is almost a minute longer than the World average (8 min 56 secs), but still less than their porn-hungry American counterparts who pleasure themselves to the tune of 10 minutes and 51 seconds.

Pornhub 2013 Year in Review

It’s that time of year again: The internet is looking back at 2013 and reliving the most relevant news stories, YouTube clips and astonishing world feats that happened over the past 12 months. This year, our Pornhub statisticians have made it their mission to break-down and understand the events over the past year, and how they affected traffic to our website.

From offering to help Obama fix his broken website, to making sure that Pornhub can be accessed from every possible device known to man (porn is that important), our statisticians have been busy compiling all the data YOU need to know from the world’s number 1 porn site.

What a fantastically astronomical number of visits. The number of users who came to (and thanks to) our site, is so big that we had to make sure we were writing it out correctly. That works out to roughly 1.68 million visits per hour over the entire year. Thanks for giving our servers the workout you did this year – best diet ever!

Video Gamers & Pornhub

Pornhub strives to always give the best user experience possible, no matter what platform our users are accessing the site from. Game consoles are no exception, and our engineers worked tirelessly to ensure that Pornhub would be fully supported on the PS4 and Xbox One systems at their launch (along with continued support for the PS3 and Wii).

Judging by the metrics assembled by our statisticians, we can see that gamers tend to spend more time, watch more videos, and have a lower bounce rate than the overall site average…. It’s all about porn on the big screen!
