The Eurovision Song Contest is the longest-running annual international TV song competition. Beginning in 1956, the 2016 edition marked it’s 61st year. The finale took place on Saturday May 14 and lasted for 4 intense hours as the performers sang and viewers from across Europe televoted for their favorites. As often happens with hotly-anticipated televised events like the Game of Thrones premier, the Super Bowl, NBA Finals and NHL Playoffs, we saw major changes to Pornhub’s normal traffic levels before, during and after the Eurovision finale show.

United Kingdom vs Storm Gertrude
Last week Pornhub Insights looked at site traffic after Snowzilla (aka Storm Jonas) landed on the coast of the United States. We found major increases in traffic in East Coast cities going as high as 25% over average in Washington D.C. United Kingdom’s Footballer Searches
Our friends over at Dream Team FC were curious to know which football stars got the most play on Pornhub. Our statisticians got to work, and the result is the chart that you see below which ranks the top searched soccer players on our site, in the United Kingdom. The clear frontrunner is Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo, followed in second place by Mr. Posh Spice himself, David Beckham. Argentina‘s Lionel Messi nabs third place. Even though there is no actual content on Pornhub depicting any of these footballers getting frisky, this list paints a clear picture of who the UK wishes there were sex tapes available from.
